AxePression is an app that turns your iPhone/iPod into a MIDI Expression controller. Now you can control any connected MIDI device via hand gestures and shaking the device.

A fully configurable touch control pad allows you to generate volume swells or other effects using one or two fingers. Turn MIDI devices on and off and send sweeping control changes to them effortlessly.

In essence, almost anything you can do with a standard floor Expression Pedal, you can achieve with this app.

The program works by sending MIDI CC (Control Change) messages out, and the parameters can be controlled by you. You can turn effects on and off by simply placing or removing your finger on the device.

You can create and save an almost unlimited number of ‘presets’ with different settings, so you can customise your settings to a particular song, instrument or gig.
