  1. Pat, do you mean the Tascam iU2? http://tascam.com/product/iu2/overview/
It does look a versatile device and better overall value if they end up similarly priced.

  2. If I may echo Diana here, my io dock is completely unusable despite having followed all the advice available on the web…so how are you all getting it working perfectly (or are you not using the guitar input functionality?)

  3. A question to those of you using IO Dock with no problems – how so? I’ve been following this thread (http://community.alesis.com/alesis/topics/io_dock_hiss) about the hiss problem (and other problems) with iOS 5 and IO Dock. The problem for many people still has not been fixed and they have been waiting since Nov 2011. Just curious since my boyfriend returned his because he was too discouraged and was hoping to find an alternative soon. Please head over to the link to help the others out too! Thanks!

  4. The Alesis iODock is Fubar, this looks like a good alternative..:)

  5. Looks great! I want one :-)

  6. As much as I like Behringer (I own a lot of Behringer gear and I’m very happy with it) I think the Numark family (Akai, Alesis, Numark) have the iOS Hardware Market well sorted. Behringer are just trying to cash in as always. I have an IO Dock which is great, I also have a SynthStation 25 and I hope to get the SynthStation 49 and maybe the iDJ Pro and the MPC Fly.

  7. Looks like Alesis set a trend.

Late to the ball, unfortunately. My IO Dock works just fine, no need to get this bad boy.

Plus I just ordered my iO Dock bag.

  8. Why all these boxes and cases.?
Will it fit iphone and touch ? What about the ever changing apple models this year ?

I think the Tascam model that they have released today seems to be better…keep it anywhere you want and just connect it with a longer connector cable.

I hope this is priced under 100 to sell.

  9. Kind of reminds me of something….hmmm…

    1. That’s just Behringer being Behringer.
