Xewton have released a video (see below) showing what to expect in version 2.1 of Music Studio – their complete iOS Universal music production environment. Users will be pleased to know that the update will include Background audio and Virtual MIDI!
We’ll let you know once the update is available.
Music Studio offers a complete music production environment with features and a sound quality previously only known to desktop applications and expensive audio hardware. It combines a piano keyboard, 65 studio-quality instruments with sustain, a fully fledged 127-track sequencer, extensive note editing, reverb, real-time effects and much more on a user-friendly interface.

Just an FYI for those who may not be aware: Music Studio already supports Virtual Midi, but not background audio. So you can control other apps with VM and multitasking capabilities (e.g. NLogSynth Pro) as long as Music Studio is running in the foreground.

I am definitely looking forward to better support for VM and the ability to tweak my sound sources while Music Studio does its thing in the background. :)
Xewton, when will we be able to use our own instruments? Thought I read it on your site.
Awesome!
I love Music Studio and use it a lot to edit MIDI on the go, the UI of the MIDI editor is one of the best IMO, with Virtual MIDI it will be nearly perfect!
There is some very interesting updates coming out the next days.
