Intua have provided details of what’s coming in version 2.2 of BeatMaker 2 – their iOS Universal mobile music creation studio inspired by professional drum machines, samplers and sequencers. Highlights include MIDI Out, Thru and MIDI-over-WiFi support, virtual MIDI inputs/outputs, a revamped Sample Lab/Chop Lab, support for Apple Loops slice points, and support for Korg’s Wireless Sync-Start Technology (WIST).

  1. I chime in. NanoStudio used to be my main daw but with background audio, BM2 took the lead. With virtual midi, the distance will be even greater.
