Fingerlab have announced the release in early July of “DM1 | The Drum Machine”, the next generation of drum machines for iPad.

It says ‘Optimised for iPad 2′…will it still run on iPad 1 though?
It might be worth taking a look at what JJOS provides on an MPC 1000 / 2000XL as inspiration for useful functionality looked for in a drum machine / beat making tool.
