Christian Bacaj has announced Electronic Piano Synthesizer XS – the worlds first piano synthesizer for the iPhone. Like the iPad version, EPS XS is based on a 32-bit realtime sound engine the sounds are computed on the fly and no samples are used.
The EPS XS gives you possibilities you don´t have with any other Piano, EPiano or Synthesizer on the iPad. You can adjust the sound while you play on the keyboard and hear the changes immediately. That is what you need to tweak your own sounds. The EPS XS is not only for EPiano sounds, you can also make sounds like bass, brass, bells, chimes, toms, vibraphone, synth pads…
EPS XS has been submitted to the App Store so should be available within the next few days with an introductory price of $0.99. We’ll let you know once it arrives.
FEATURES:
EPS XS works on iPhone 4/4S and iPod Touch 4th Generation. It will work on the iPhone 3GS with only 4 voices and slow GUI (but with MIDI is still supported).
We are also told that support for the Akai SynthStation25 Keyboard Controller is planned for a future update!
