Pulse Code have provided the official list of what will be included in the second major update to Rhythm Studio. As reported a few weeks back the update will include a new virtual analog synthesizer called “Gemini”. Also included are 6 new effects, full multi-touch capabilities, improved workspace navigation, and 16 new patches for the ST-1 synthesizer. We are told that the update should be available at some point next month. We’ll let you know once it becomes available!

Here is the full list of what’s coming:

Gemini Synthesizer:

• 2 oscillators with analog modeled waveforms
• Oscillator 2 >> 1 sync
• Oscillator 2 >> 1 ring modulation
• Oscillator tune in +/-7 semitone range
• 24 db/octave resonant ladder filter
• Full ADSR envelopes for filter and amp
• LFO

 
6 New Effects:

• Reverb tuned for drums/percussion sounds
• Reverb tuned for synthesizers
• Phaser
• Amplifier style Distortion
• 2 band Equalizer
• Auto Filter

 
Other improvements / additions:

• Full Multi-touch! Now you can control multiple knobs and sliders at the same time!
• Improved workspace navigation! Fast zooming and panning that locks to device is now possible.
• 16 new patches for the ST-1 synthesizer created by RED-EYE.
