Wooji Juice have provided details of some of the new features coming to the next version of Grain Science. The update will include a new ribbon controller and a new unit called the G-1000 “Shapeinator”.
In version 1.3 you’ll be able to swap out the standard piano keyboard for a ribbon controller – this gives you more subtle control over notes played, by sliding your fingers vertically along the ribbon.
Also coming is the G-1000 Shapeinator — a fully-customisable wave-shaper fx unit. Pick a preset wave-shaping curve or design your own. There’s a bunch of fun stuff going on behind the scenes to make this feel smooth and natural, and it allows you to create a variety of unique fx: amplifiers, distortion and more extreme transformations…
Grain Science is a beautiful new iPad Synthesiser. Designed for musicians, soundscape artists and SFX engineers who want to go beyond our Sylo Synthesiser, Grain Science is built on similar principles of granular synthesis, but is vastly more powerful.
