VirSyn have provided details of what to expect in version 2.0 of iVoxel – their iOS Universal vocoder. The update will include Voxel Editing (see image), Virtual MIDI support, Background Audio, SoundCloud integration, Wireless Sync-Start Technology (WIST) support, and more!

The update should be released in the AppStore in January. We’ll let you know once it’s available.

iVoxel is not only an amazingly sounding vocoder – the unique concept of iVoxel turns this vocoder into a singing machine. iVoxel is a combination of a voice optimized synthesizer and a vocoder. The vocoder part is based on the Matrix vocoder from VirSyn used by many famous artists – one of them the well known german group Kraftwerk.
