  1. Figure is now available is Aus app store and it’s worse than I expected :(
You are limited to 2 bars of so called music and you can’t even save it. Oh well, it’s only a dollar…

  2. you people are unbelievable. the best way to make sure the folks at propellerhead that you aren’t interested in their app is to NOT buy it. I would bet a month’s salary that every whiner on this thread will be coughing up their buck, and then complaining even more about that. if you don’t think it has the features you want FOR A DOLLAR, then don’t buy it. so easy.
“pro app” or not, if I get a loop going in anything that ends up on a track, that’s worth a buck to me.

  3. Just tried it on iPad. Got a nice little loop going, definitely worth the price!
Re feedback – I don’t like apps that require u to rotate the device, especially the iPad, my iPad stays in landscape mode, so I’d like to be able to access every screen in that mode. Also, audio copy so I can paste out my recordings pls! :)

  4. @kalle/ propellerheads

Can you please tell us where the Figure app is? If the app was submitted at least 3 Fridays ago, it should have been out a long time ago, you stated that apple did not reject the app and that there is no snag, and you were in the middle of clearing some things up with apple- what might that be??

It does not make any sense! You submitted the app and there is no problem with it.

Did you pause release due to the whining that went on here and and are adding more features?

I need to know, as I’ve had countless emails asking me, no one from your main site is responding.

Your app is controversial and I have been defending it due to my affection for its desktop counterpart.

So, please clarify, as I am at a loss for words here and do not know what to tell the people on my mailing list

    Thanx

    1. We definitely haven’t paused or retracted anything. :-) Talking to counterparts in other timezones takes time, is all. Discussion here is great feedback for coming updates, no worries!

The 1.0 release as announced and described is still on, and not very far away now. Be patient, and create some music in the meanwhile! :-)

      1. No bugs. Counterparts is Apple, sorry if I was unclear on that. We’re set for release this week, so hold out just a little bit more. :-)

      2. Some people here really have entitlement issues.
They whine that an app isn’t out, that what was announced isn’t what they’d imagined, and they’ll whine even more when it is released.

        Get a life!

  5. Pro apps….
GarageBand…i want to agree…but the transfer system of this app and the track count sucks…

Rebirth….yup it does more than its original daw parent
    Animoog…this competes with hardware keyboards…
Idensity… (i havent bought this yet)
Alchemy…as soon as i can sample and make a patch…and yes its doable!
Tc11…(i havent bought this one yet?)
Sunrizer…ummm this synth is great…once again competes with hardware
    Addictive synth…competes with hardware
Nanostudio…i love eden, this thing can sound so very dark 70s rock
    Mixtikle…(i just cant comment)
Grain science…incredible, does stuff nothing else does period
Samplewiz… I love this for its simplicity and its almost vsynth engine
Hokusai… Not only competes but beats many many editors on daw
Thumbjam… This app has been amazing since the beginning
How did you forget Beatmaker2 by intua and Tabletop by retronyms? Both dope! I would put the drumsampler in beatmaker against any hardware sampler you name and beatmaker would own it!

    1. Beatmaker2 is slow, half as good as nano and the fx are nowhere near as good, shame as it does have potential, but if you have nano, then u don’t actually need this..

Sample wiz? You are joking right?

Tabletop is good but still needs tightening up

Highly suggest u try idensity and tc11

Mixtikle is great, very very deep editing on this one, go look at their site…so many effects and a tweakers heaven

    2. I have both nanostudio and beatmaker2
the drum sampler on bm2 kills the crappy one on nano
i dont think either one of those apps are bad
I dont think either one is slow
I think they are two different things…
I think nano is more about EDEN and sequencing eden to some drums
Beatmaker is about sampling and chopstyle beatmaking
      ~(=

No Im not joking SAMPLEWIZ is badass all day long in my book

  6. Kalle,

It seems like some kind of document save for the initial release and audio copy/paste would have been beneficial, but I won’t care as long as it FEELS fun and creates some good SOUND. I imagine creating something great and then getting a phone call or something similar and forgetting what I was tweaking and having to start all over again after a crash, etc. Looking forward to the release and hope it comes out soon.

    1. Thanks! Oh, there is one document and it’s very persistent. :-) Your loop will be there if you take a call, or even if you delete the app from the App Switcher and start it again. It’s quite robust too, so crashes are very very unusual, at least in the testing we’ve done.

  7. There is no such thing as 70 pro apps for the iPad!!!!!

15-20 at most and that’s me being generous, here’s what comes to mind:

    GarageBand
    Rebirth
    Animoog
    Idensity
    Alchemy
    Tc11
    Sunrizer
    Addictive synth
    Nanostudio
    Mixtikle
    Grain science
    Hokusai
    Thumbjam

Maybe two or three more, but no effing way 70, that is crazy, many apps are ok, but definatly not pro, maybe to entry level people

So now due to my whining, and you guys freaking out at me, you have unrestricted access to propellerheads, so go tell them what you need, think you will find they will do what they can to assist..

    1. How about iMS-20? It’s a beast!

  8. This is how Props listen to user suggestions:
About a year ago I have asked together with countless of users to implement MIDI sync in ReBerth iPad app. I was redirected to Retronyms. Retronyms told me that it is in Props hands and they will do it if Props give it a go. I have mentioned that to Props, but they said it is in Retronyms hands…
10 months later and nothing happened…
This is how Props work… ;)

    1. Yes, sorry about that. This was before my time. No excuse, but we do want to come out with an update to ReBirth eventually. We do however have A LOT of things on our hands at this moment, but we’ll hopefully get to ReBirth too.

  9. Hey Props, we are still waiting for MIDI sync in ReBirth for iPad btw… :(
It will probably never happen, just like Reason will not become iPad app… :(

  10. Well, let’s just forget Figure being Reason in any way and form. Judging by replies from Props here, I can’t see it happening ever – they didn’t even bother to make this toy an Universal app…
Anyway, I have just purchased rather excellent Meteor app together with MIDI pack and Virtual Instruments. Yes, i have spent about $40 for it (including in app purchases), but it was/is really worth it. This app is just like a Cubase on iPad, i love it :)
BTW; I own about about 70 (pro) music iPad apps now and I’m happy with what i have. Most of them are MIDI capable, have various sync and export options and my iPad is now a permanent part of my humble home studio production environment which incidentally consists of latest Reason ver.6, Cubase 6.5, Ableton Live Suite 8 and countless VSTi and AU plugins.
As it is Figure just doesn’t fit this set up at all :(

    1. I wouldn’t call three DAWs, countless plugins, iPad with large amounts of synth apps “humble” at all. Quite impressive. :-)

So, what features would you like to see in Figure, as it is announced now, to make it fit your setup? You have our ear!

  11. Please guys, calm down.

While we encourage active debate I’ve had to edit and delete a few comments because they were too personal / abusive, and I don’t really want to have to close the story to comments.

    Thanks, Alex

  12. One more thing…
I dont want to hear the lame ass excuse about ipad not being powerful enough to run reason, or a better fuller garageband…there are single person developers doing great things…

    Beatmaker2 has a wickedly powerful sampler…
Grainscience is just str8 mad scientist ish
Samplewiz is almost a roland vsynth
Sunrizer sounds so much like a 2 grand roland synth its not funny

If auria is successful at 48 tracks, multi io and plug in effects and instruments…then most of the big guys are just going to be left behind…

  13. Csgrain is awesome in my book…big fun.
There should have already been an ipad reason app…imho…
Im not going to argue, and i am going to spend a dollar to check out the figure app.

In the total amount of time i have had the ipad, i have noticed big companies trying to keep the ipad in a companion state with daw music production…hahaha, who thinks like this especially when the ipad has bodyslammed the entire music market for the last two years!

I personally would pay 100-200 bucks for a full reason running on the ipad…but i just dont think that propellerheads are taking the ipad seriously …hell give me reason 1, and let me in app purchase the other devices etc…retronyms has tabletop which in my opinion is a blatent reason rip off…only tabletop is just not deep for shit!

The biggest balldrop i have seen thus far for ipad…would be apple with garageband…
Shitty 8 track limit, no efx hardly, no smart horns, the sampler is just wack, importing your own material is cryptic and involves using a daw, exporting a garageband file to collaborate involves thelatest garageband, the latest os, and a 25 dollar purchase of a piece of software to put the gb file back into the right folder so ipad gb can find it… Apples own music product has so much potential…to bad it fails so incredibly bad in file transfer that i just absolutely refuse to use it until its fixed…charge more! Fix your broken app apple, too bad the genius has passed away…and apple staying on top will be something of an accomplishment at this stage!

So for all those bitching about reason, buy tabletop…its becoming the new reason! The days of desktops and laptops is quickly becoming obsolete! As soon as the ipad gets an actual user operable filetree…its over prime!

Oh, and I completely agree Propellerheads have made a mistake by not porting reason…
Like native instruments they probably wagered the ipad wouldnt be a big deal…and i think that was not an educated decision…if that indeed was the decision.

  14. Wow, this thread has exploded with long and passionate comments! I’ve barely kept up reading them, much less had a chance to answer.

Someone seemed to think we chosen to “advertise” here, which of course isn’t what it is. iDesignSound chose to report about Figure from our press conference where we announced Rack Extensions and Figure. The only thing we (or I, as it is) chose to do was to come in here and respond to a growing thread.

So here’s the lowdown. We’re in the process of clearing some things with Apple before we can release. It’s not a snag and we didn’t get rejected, just some things that we need to take care of. Go make some music, when you’re done (do we ever get done though? :-) you might have another sonic tool available.

As for export options, it’s quite easy. In the initial release, there aren’t any. There actually aren’t any documents to export. You can clear your song, and that’s it.

There are a few reasons for these choices for the initial release. Wanting to do it right, priorities and so on. But the main one is that we think that it actually works quite nicely this way. Getting a good groove going is so easy and quick, that after playing around with it for a (usually good) while, it’s no big thing to start over and make a new one.

Modular synth users have been doing this for decades, and there’s a certain worry-free feeling that comes with there being no “documents” in that environment, which has kind of carried over to Figure.

Analog synth users also always had a way of getting their sounds and sequences recorded without export functions.

Here comes a short humble brag, so cover your eyes if you’re sensitive. :-) A couple of years ago, I had the pleasure of hanging out with a certain mouse-headed canadian artist before one of his shows. This was before I was in the music software business, but we talked about the growing number of iPhone music apps, of which there wasn’t all that many of back then. I think I lamented something about different formats and it being hard to get stuff out of the phone. He said, “Just line it and record it. Chop it up, whatever, just USE it.”. Well of course. That’s what musicians and producers have been doing with modulars, 808′s, 303′s and other noisemakers forever, right? That moment kind of stuck with me though, and although I seldom have the time to record music properly nowadays, that thought is still there.

To me, the most important thing about music is to CREATE it and play it to someone, be it live or recorded, the listener being just yourself or a mass of thousands.

NOW, having said all this, I will reiterate. Figure will soon be released in it’s initial version. We have a long list of upcoming features, and we’re not afraid to use it. We can’t say when this or that feature will come, because we don’t know. Yet. But we WILL listen to your wants and needs and turn our list upside down if needed. If you don’t think Figure is right for you at this point, you can save a dollar! :-)

Thanks for reading, and for caring about music.

(Feel free to follow and hassle me at @kallepa, where I tweet about all kinds of stuff. For more official Propellerhead stuff, the account is @propellerheadsw.)

  15. I am looking forward to what this app might become and that is enough for me, especially since it is starting at 99 cents. :)

    Edited by iDesignSound

  16. I hope the best for Propellerhead. I hope the users that write the reviews in the AppStore go easy on them. To all the other curious users that buy apps based on star ratings (you know the ones with the money) don’t listen to those reviews. They might change.

  17. Animoog sold well because it is a true pro app, the first of its kind with a higher quality sound and ability that was unprecedented. Most people who purchased it were people who saw a bargain and in turn found a gem. Actually we all did didn’t we?

Most apps are clumsy and slow, maybe ten apps in the whole store are worthy of the title pro

I don’t think every developer MUST cater to the ones who free sound says drive the market because they do not drive any market yet. It is too small a group of people yet to be taken seriously.

If you want a certain app, go make one yourself or shut up and be grateful for what people have developed already.

    Edited by iDesignSound

  18. Ive been following this thread and can see both sides here but it’s funny that some main points have slipped some.

Figure will be updated in time, but still complaints come their way? Don’t you have enough apps to work with already? Be happy with those and watch other apps get further refined.

I think figure looks cool and there are some features that seem attractive, but everyone wants their birthday cake before the day?

As the full details of figure have not been released just yet, it’s presumptuous to fully discredit the app.

And I agree, the feeling directed at the developers of this app is really horrible, when in reality it seems like they are doing many a big favor.

All this has made me want figure even more, it’s only 1 dollar so no loss if it is crap, but it should be ok as rebirth is a splendid app

    Edited by iDesignSound

  19. Those are great points that follow my own. I agree that the balancing act is a fine line. Minority or not are we not an established minority? A minority still has standards and while some might consider that spoiled I consider progress. Why is a big company with the power to lead going to revert progress that all these other hard working developers worked for and use the excuse “minority”.

Is GarageBand being top app for an entire year minority. Is copy/paste a feature in that app? Has not the market already chastised its own hand in Apple over these “spoiled/minority” features. Say what you’d like or deem actions appropriate however makes you sleep. I’d say this “minority” has spoken. If Apple(!) can hear these calls and find a way to adjust GarageBand to work within the new standards then surely Propellarhead has had enough time to read every review and understand what is needed. If I can take the hour it took to read 1000 GarageBand reviews(the benchmark) then I’d think,no,I’d expect a figure head (see that) company to put in the same effort.

That’s all I am saying. You can agree, disagree, I don’t mind. Call me spoiled or minority. But don’t want to destroy the progress of the hard working developers that got us to this position with “hopes to the future”. I think we are past reviews that read “here’s hoping we get…” and then waiting for a year….

    Thanks for your time.

  20. Ps- another reason why developers such as the props feel that the iOS producers are in such a small monitory as that there is hardly many who actually showcase their productions to a larger audience, I’d say for the most part people believe that it’s all just for fun while u r on a bus or train or plane…

Get your work out there, get it released on a record label! A few have, but only a few..

It is up to all of us who actually have passion that iOS music can be professional to show the developers what the damned apps are actually used for, and I’m not talking about soundcloud groups…

  21. Well if Propellerhead looks for at broader audience than the apparently small amount iOS musicians who needs things like audio export, copy and paste etc. then iDesignsound might not be the right site to advertise for Figure in the first place if you want to stay out of trouble. Especially not if these same guys all hope that Propellerhead will concentrate on making a version of Reason for iPad instead. The partnership with Retronyms and the release of Rebirth showed the potential and anything beyond such a release will be eventually a dissapointment -for the small amount of people hanging around here of course.

    Cheers

  22. Look what Matt from Blip was was able to do his first time out and he’s one guy so I don’t wanna hear it. There are no excuses for Figure. Let’s see some action.

    Edited by iDesignSound

  23. Btw; It’s not the cost of app that is in question here, but rather it’s usefulness or lack of it for iOS musician.

    Edited by iDesignSound

  24. I haven’t been involved in the debate, but think the haters are in the minority. I’m serious about my IOS music making and I can’t wait to get my hands on Figure. A dollar = 69p in UK! These are exciting times and I applaud the creativity and generosity of the developers. Thanks Kalle.

  25. Thank you everyone for voicing your thoughts and opinions! Especially freesoul and evolutionaryartsdotorg who wrote some nice feature length pieces! :-) Your comments are really valuable to us, so again – thank you!
Balancing the fun factor that we’re aiming for with “pro” features is not easy. In the end, it comes down to priorities. If you ask me, we definitely nailed the fun part. I’m not exaggerating when I say that we have fun with it everyday, after months of development. I’ll come in to the office smiling, connect my phone to the speakers and suddenly all of us are smiling and nodding our heads. And I’m not even the pro here. :-)
The “pro” features is there so far in the form of the full Reason sound, and whatever implications that will have on updates to come.
We have a wide audience in mind for Figure. Compared to that, the iOS musician crowd is pretty small. And in that crowd, we really don’t know how many uses specific features such as ACP for instance. And to add to the fun, there’s constantly new technologies coming in and stirring things up, like Audiobus. It’s really exciting!
Aaanyway. We do care about you, we do listen, and we do have a long list of features that we want to get in there over the next updates. Bringing stuff in/out, more sounds and so on. You’re very much free to hold out for the updates that makes this a valid tool for you. Or, you can buy it for a buck now (edit: soon!) and have some fun while you wait.
Best regards, Kalle – Product Manager Apps, Propellerhead.

    1. Dear Kalle

Thanks for taking the time to write in and clarify some things. From my part I am grateful for many years of deep music making with reason and fully support your endeavours with this new app. As we are still waiting, can you please clarify the export options that will be available in the first release? Will it have sound cloud export with a record feature to do so?

I think you are correct to have a wider audience in mind with this app as much of the entry level stuff is very poor, so a decent introduction like this will of course inspire many to get more serious, buy more apps, and if they also use desktop, maybe even reason itself.

I cater mostly for the pro level production crowd, but at times, even an entry level app will be useful in some way. I think the UI and features in figure could make for some interesting music making.band of course, the future developments of this app will increase its value no doubt.

The act of you responding made my constant effort to defend the app worthwhile and I wish your company the best of luck with it, no doubt it will sell well and satisfy those who break the bank lol to buy it.

Anyway, please let us know what export options are, and when it is coming! It has been 11 days since it was announced that it had been submitted to apple, I’m concerned as I am aware of two apps that already have come out which were submitted later than yours

Thanks again for writing and letting us know from your side, I am sure it is appreciated by mature people:)

  26. @freesoul

Good points, I respect your angle here

The basic point I am making is that none of us have yet been able to get our hands on the damned app..and it may initially be limited but the are still potential uses for it

The UI is sweet! And it has a certain possible methodology of usage that can be exported to other apps( likely at first via soundcloud then export back in as described in a previous comment by myself.

So what if it cannot be tweaked within the app? Export to nano or Hokusai or grain science and mess with it further…add your tweaks in that way

I’d say we are spoilt and despite the fact that we are hoping for better from the props, maybe just maybe they are hitting another market- the entry level market initially, maybe they are not aiming to please us so called seasoned producers. We have to remember we are not the only audience category. But still, some people dissed physynth, but I can get some good tricks out of it and export to other apps.

I really do think we are spoilt brats lol and we take everything for granted and that if an app doesn’t fit into our specifications then we should just ignore it and maybe watch and see if it develops.

Yes, the iOS music thing has exploded, and this year it will truly show it’s worth. Auria? We will be able to finally fully master tracks! Glitch breaks? Finally really chop and mess beats up properly!

I am more convinced that the props are testing the market with this app, they are busy with desktop stuff so have to see if it is worth more time and effort to fully enter iOS arena

And to be honest, if people expect a full reason for ios from them? If I were them reading the bitching going on? I would definatly not waste my time

As far as rebirth goes, retronyms did most, if not all the work on that one, under the props direction, so really, figure is their first standalone Dev entry into the iOS world.

So, instead of dissing them, id say we support them and likely then guarantee further improvements from them.

And again, none of us have tried the app, just seen a video or two and read the basic features, we don’t know how many samples and presets that are in it yet, what to speak of export features, so we cannot fully put a thumbs down here, not fair on them or on potential buyers of the app

And here is why I am so passionate

Before iOS,I was using reason, acid and absynth and got a lot of decent work done from reason, even performed live with it, so for me, spending a dollar is a way of saying thank you, supporting them and using a revered quality called patience and seeing where the app goes. Even if it just killed an hour or two of time jamming live, then ok, great way to spend a dollar

    Edited by iDesignSound

  27. Id rather wait and have them put huge effort into the app instead of a $1 noise maker with Reason 5 sales on their mind.

I think ios has made leaps and bounds in making itself with the help of hard working developers the serious music platform we see today. Apps that have raised the bar set standards for top companies like Propellarhead. They could do so much more. They have the money, the teams, the talent. Instead they outsource to one guy to build them this marketing tool and it all falls back on that one developer.

With apps like animoog. Sunrizer, and more we have seen what iOS can do. We all know the tricks by now. Copy/paste are standard, soundcloud is now becoming standard. If propellarhead thinks they can drop in to this establishment 2 years later without even putting so much as an effort of what iOS musicians are actualling needing or using to make music then I see that as a slap in the face.

Sure your a big company. Sure you can hire outside devs that speak the code. But what I want is a useful tool from a top company that will bring something to the table we can’t find in other apps. To use Animoog and Sunrizer again(sorry)these two apps revolutionized how synth apps will sound and act from now on. For 1.0 releases they were pretty tuned into the market and found a place and took off.

Propellarhead has put Rebirth on ios. A brilliant move on their part. A top named software from a top named company that paid a top named developer(Retronyms)to build this thing and deliver. We as respectable users don’t want a cash grab,”join the crowd” app. We want as much time and dedication to our platform from the developers as we as users out into ourselves.

We are not asking for the world. (most of us) are not asking for full Reason even. All I ask is take a second to find info about the market you are pushing into. What do ios musicians need? What tools are available for the developer to make the app usable to ios musicians? All I ask for is a little effort and understanding about the environment some of us dedicated iOS musicians are using. That’s all. If it means waiting on an app fine. If it means charging more fine. What I don’t want is some app that was beta tested on a plane ride to Messe for the unveiling! Don’t launch the beta in the store and use the “more features to come”.

They should put as much as they can into the release to amaze users right away and then use “updates” to refine and bring even more to the table. Don’t use updates to add features that should be there from the start.

There. That’s my rant about Figure and Propellarhead. I use rebirth. I know they can do so much for ios. In the end they only really have the first impression to make the name for their efforts. The AppStore is a difficult mistress. People take $1 apps just as serious as $300 full software titles. Don’t sell yourselves short by trying to make a buck. Your hearts are in the right place. Basically giving an app away to get it into as many hands as possible is a great strategy(Moog, tabletop) Just don’t cheat the users. This app might do well on Android, where the market might be a little stagnant but throw it to the AppStore at this stage and it will get pulled to shreds.

My opinions might be different. I read almost every AppStore review for every music app. I have written reviews on almost every music app in the AppStore. I’m not a developer. I just know what I read and what I use and what other reviews say about apps when they are missing certain things.

    That is all. Thanks.

  28. Yes I am sure a master will be able to make Figure sound like the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and that it will get updates enough in time to make Reason look like a broken Kazoo. Meanwhile I will stick to apps that you actually can make full music productions on without being a master, namely apps like NanoStudio, Beatmaker 2 and Meteor. However, you are welcome to return to this thread and laugh at me when Figure is mature enough to outdate any of these apps.

  29. A bad workman always blames his tools, a master can make sweet music from any instrument

Lol, what part of the app will get updated with many more features don’t you guys understand?

  30. As far as I can see, this app is nothing but another fart in the rivers of useless toys from the app store abyss. Is it because it is Propellerhead that people grant it so much undeserved attention? Let Propellerhead make their own experiences with this one and maybe their next app will be more ambitious.

    Edited by iDesignSound

  31. So where is the app? Been like 9 days…methinks people whining all over the planet have forced developers to put it on hold and release it with THE FURTHER FEATURES THAT THEY WERE PLANNING TO INCLUDE as announced on the solid state video
I swear, the amount of people whine about a one dollar app is really pathetic, if people listened carefully they would have noted that this was just an initial release with many more features planned..

  32. This is just one of a few whines at the devs on their forum

    https://www.propellerheads.se/forum/showthread.php?p=1021844

Anyway, it’s all good, it’s a sign that buyers expect fully able production tools and the devs, especially big ones like props had better deliver the goods

Nonetheless, figure looks fun and may have some use..

  33. I honestly see so many companies drop the ball on the ipad! Propellerheads already Have for a few years. I loved reason but it isnt going forward…its falling back! The ipad has enough power all day to run reason which has been running on way lesser computers for far longer…i do understand that thor can consume some cpu and so can the space echo. This is a way too little too late effort on the part of propellerheads in my opinion. I honestly see the end for laptops and desktops soon. Too bad alot of companies will die with it…especially once dope ass companies!

    1. Ah, at last someone who talks my language! Yes laptops and pcs for music will become redundant over time, however, I think this app will be cool as a simple tool as long as it has export options.
I mean come on, so many whine over one dollar, but still, I’d like to see what you can get if same value outside the app store for same price..

  34. No iPad native version, no audio copy, no any kind of sync, no import or export to and from Reason…. Etc;
Bottom line – it is completely useless iPhone/iPod $1 toy.
What a very disappointing effort (lack of it) from such a reputable company. If that app came out under the banner of “first time” unknown developer, everybody would shred it to bits…

  35. Great to see another big name seeing iOS as a viable/ mainstream music production platform.

Still dreaming of the day I go to app store and see a ielectribe mx!

  36. The first thing I thought of was ikaossilator with a few minor tweaks and UI changes. Take in account that Korg is now a part of thier “partner instruments” it might make sense that a few bits of code made its way from the land of Korg.

Not going to be a full on production environment. I think it’s going to be a rebranded ikaossilator with Reason sounds and instead of those cool flashing and dancing lights we get plain dot automation and turning wheels….it will be fun just like ikaossilator is.

  37. I would rather have waited to pay more money for a deeper app than for them to have wasted any energy on this dollar app I won’t buy.

  38. Well, I’ve seen lots of whining about this from people expecting a full scale reason but lol, give props a break, they will release a deeper app later in the year. I think for 69pennies this is cool, an amazing UI, some decent albeit not very tweak able sounds and made by reputable developers, as long as it has some kind of export option, even soundcloud, I’d say it’s a good app. If it don’t have export then well, that makes it literally a full scale toy.

Let’s see what it does when it comes out, nothing to lose as its very well priced
