Techné Media have released version 1.1.0 of Different Drummer – their new drum machine for iPad that uses the innate rhythmic power of waves to control all aspects of drumming. The update adds stereo audio recording, export audio via AudioCopy/Paste, export to DropBox & iTunes file sharing, import custom samples via iTunes, Tap Tempo and more!

I’ve heard the soundcloud posts. JR Hexatone is way more “ground breaking” to me and its not new… Dunno if its still available for purchase but I do know it was NOT 150bucks…
They really need to at least upload one youtube video or SOMETHING… I’m really curious about this thing, but I think that’s only because of the price.
There is a demo on YouTube now, just search for “ipad different drummer”. But based on that, it sounds like a bit of a novelty to me, personally I wouldn’t even be tempted at 5 dollars…
Make it 15.- and i might be tempted.
