EPS v1.1 Now Available Plus Ten Promo Codes to Give Away!

Version 1.1 of the excellent Electronic Piano Synthesizer (EPS) for iPad is now available, and we are very pleased to have ten (that’s right ten!) promo codes to giveaway!
As mentioned yesterday this update includes the much requested support for CoreMIDI (via the Camera Connection Kit or Network). NoteOn, NoteOff, Velocity, PitchBend, ModWheel, MasterVolume and ProgramChange will be available.
Also included is a new option for linear knob movement (vertical and horizontal), an improved oscilloscope design, and improvements to the sound engine. The “Detune Bug” has also been fixed. There is a new A4 base frequency tuning.
Audio Recording (sound file export) and AudioCopy is planned for the next update.

The Electronic Piano Synthesizer (EPS) is the world first piano synthesizer for the iPad. Based on a 32bit realtime sound engine, the sounds were computed on the fly, no samples were used.
The EPS gives you possibilities you don´t have with any other Piano or EPiano on the iPad. You can change the sound while you play on the keyboard and hear the changes immediately. That is what you need to tweak your own sounds. The main use for EPS is EPiano sounds, but you can also make sounds like bass, brass , bells, chimes, toms, vibraphone…

With so many piano synth apps available, this looks like an elegant solution that could be the winner.

Well after the download of EPS i just began to play and change settings. Very flexible engine, GREAT sound and no noise. Not yet on MIDI. The only thing I don’t like it’s the size and positioning of two little buttons right and left of the preset bank: Load (left) & Save (right). Somewhat when you are excired it’s easy to press load instead of save or the contrary, somtimes losing your changes. I would locate them in a different place or bigger, maybe in different color.
That is a mini minor quibble. Actually I am very happy with the EPS and would recomnend it to anyone searching for a more specialized piano synth with spacey and cycodelic overtones. Go for it.

In the past my focus has been on samples, loops, and sequencers, but after taking music theory and music appreciation I decided to expand my horizons.

With midi support, this app should be a real winner. There are tons of sampled pianos available, but I find a synthesized/tweakable sound vastly more appealing.

Finding a nice piano like this has been on my list a while. I need a piano like this for my music. Funny I was just starting a new song project thinking, ” I sure could use a really nice piano sound” and this has what I’m looking for! I’d love love love to have EPS!
Well from the vids I saw the ability to change sounds and moreover I need a decent piano in my set. This one sounds G.R.E.A.T.!
