Marcos Alonso has released Samplr – a new app that lets you make music and play with sound in a new and intuitive way by touching the waveform on the screen directly with your fingers. Explore the sounds melody and texture using the different play modes and create your music compositions with the gesture recorder.
“The sound at your fingertips. With an interface designed for live performance, Samplr gives the musician quick and precise access to all the instrument functionality at any time. Unlike other apps that try to recreate real life instruments or interaction concepts from traditional computers Samplr was designed from the very beginning for Multi-Touch devices. A fully fledged instrument.”

REALLY awesome app for all sampling fanatics… sadly no audiocopy or recording feature, so you need iTunes. If they can add that in a future version, this thing is serious gold.
What an amazing app.
Can’t wait for the developers to implement audio copy/paste!
Still, nice work!
Works for me on an iPad 3. Really unique and cool app, too.
Anyone else not get any sound with the app? I am using an ipad 3. I turned the volume up in the app and the volume buttons on the side. I tried the bow and splice modes but just do not get any sound through the headphones or regular speaker.
