Using high-precision motion data from the accelerometer, Omelet is able to reproduce the behavior and range of sounds found in a real shaker – making it ideal for professional musicians to use live on stage or in the studio.
 

 

When you roll and rotate Omelet in your hand, it makes tumbling sounds. Shaking slowly sounds different to shaking quickly. Even the direction of your shake (side-to-side and back-to-front) sounds different, just like the real thing!

Omelet uses 3D physical modeling, over 20 high-fidelity samples, and a synthesis technique called granular synthesis to generate various roll, shuffle, and impact sounds in real-time that blend seamlessly together.
