Rollometer is a utility for drummers which lets you count the number of strokes in a specified amount of time or time how long it takes to stroke a set number of hits.
 

 

It the uses microphone input (included on iPhones, iPod touch 4th Generation etc.).

To count the number of strokes in a specified amount of time, swipe on the clock to set the duration (1 to 15 minutes)

To time how long it takes to stroke a set number of hits, swipe on the cymbals. For example, to count 2500 hits, set the x1000 cymbal to 2, and the x100 cymbal to 5.

Rollometer will work with various inputs, such as a practice pad, snare drum, etc.
