Sunsine Audio has released “Explorer” – a new bank of 64 new presets for Magellan. Every preset has the mod wheel and X-Y Pad routed to useful destinations. In addition 21 presets have been “Coupled” and labeled accordingly to be used as dual layer presets utilizing both synth engines. These presets maintain their function and individuality when used un-”Coupled” as well.
“Anyone looking for a bit of insight and exploration into this semi-modular behemoth should be pleased. Following hot-on-the-heels of our factory presets, these presets are of equal quality, and will greatly expand your palette. We’re proud to add this set to our growing list of products.”

The bank is priced at $2.49 USD and is available at sunsineaudio.com. Check out the sound demo below…
Thanks Chris! Stephen, he is correct, it differs between apps. Magellan is pretty friendly however. Here is a copy of our installation instructions –
To load please connect your iDevice to your computer. Select the device and click on Apps in iTunes, and scroll down to the area that says File Sharing. Select Magellan from the list, and drag and drop the “Explorer – Sunsine Audio.yban” file into the Documents sections.
Open Magellan’s preset browser and click “Share”, then click “iTunes: Import Files”.
Chris is also correct that we have a preview pack available, it is available for free here

So how do you install these packs into your iPad apps?
They come with install instructions. With some apps you have to connect your idevice to a computer running iTunes, select the program tab scroll down and add the file(s) via files sharing. And from there follow the instructions for each app since they import presets differently etc. Magellan supports “open in…” so you can download it directly via your idevice and use something like GoodReader to unzip and use “open in…” and choose Magellan. There’s a demo bank with 12 presets to try it out with…
Cool, I’ll have to try that demo pack out.
Thanks for the info.
