Sorry to hog the post.
I will say that email support from camel is the fastest and most curtious I have experience. They really take the time to understand the problem.
I really like alchemy, but wish I didn’t have spend time continually downloading when I could be playing.
Downloading the sounds were easier…..there was a button to restore packages. It marked all purchased ones as Free. That may be easier than retyping my itunes password to verify I purchased them….but not much.
BTW the app is still downloading. It has been working this whole time. First extra pack is 1/2 done and I got 2 more to go……good thing it is not a schedule. I hope to God that it does not lock up again on me when I am using a midi driver and recording. When that happens I have to reload it all again.
Other than that the app is great with great sounds. I wish the sounds copied to pasteboard were the same quality that is heard when the app is playing. It sounds compressed.
After the update, the pro upgrade was no where to be found and there was no way to download it. I had to delete the app and re-load the app which meant downloading all the updates and sound packs again. Well lets see how easy the sound package restore feature is. This is the 5th time I have had to delete and reload Alchemy. Each time is time consuming. I love working with Alchemy, but I wish the ios app was a little more stable. Maybe this is a result of a big Audio player getting involved in the new ios game, but maybe not being fully committed? I am patient. I would say that the Pro upgrade is worth it and the sounds are nice.
