Kitefish Labs have released version 1.2 of BlobSynth – their synthesiser for the iPad. The update polyphony for certain sound design patches, a new background for higher contrast synth controller, updated mapping options, and other improvements and minor bug fixes.

What’s new:

• Black background for higher contrast Synth Controller
• Tracings/dotted reference lines for segments and radii
• Updated options in the mappings preset drop-down lists
• Updated sound designs with slight smoothing (ramping) of values.
• Polyphony for certain sound design patches!
• Several other minor bug fixes.

 

 

BlobSynth is a synthesizer for the iPad with an novel yet intuitive multitouch interface for controlling synthesis parameters alongside a standard keyboard interface.
