Update: ChordBot v2.0 Released – Now iOS Universal and More!

Lars Careliusson has released version 2.0 of Chordbot – his songwriting tool / electronic accompanist that lets you create and play advanced chord progressions easily on your iPhone or iPad. The update adds support for the iPad. Chordbot is now iOS Universal! It also adds a style/instrument mixer, over 350 mixable instrument tracks, section based style changes and more!

Chordbot is useful for songwriting experiments, as accompaniment for your guitar/saxophone/theremin solos, or as a backing band for your shower singing sessions. Just add some chords, select a comping style and hit play. Use of headphones recommended.

looks cool, but needs midi out for my $
You can export both the sound and a midi file. I got this yesterday and find it really good to play around with song ideas. I can see me using it a lot.
