Harmony Systems, Inc. gbTouch 2 for GarageBand for ipad

Use your iPad to remote control GarageBand on your Mac! With gbTouch you can control record and playback from anywhere in your studio. Set each track’s volume with easy to adjust multi-touch faders. Set track mute, solo, or record enable with a simple button tap. Tracks display their name and are color coded to quickly show you which are real vs. software instruments. Select a track and bring up a special edit panel to make tweaks to track settings and important effects. Untether yourself from the computer mouse and screen!

gbTouch 2 now has your most requested new feature: track names and color-coded track type! And tracks now have individual volume faders that adjust and show each track’s current volume setting. Also new are themes: change the look of gbTouch to one of four styles from the iPad Settings application. Pick a favorite or change it up for a fresh look!

One great way to reap the benefits of gbTouch is to use GarageBand to get some tracks down in your composition, then sit back with your iPad – or even move around your studio – and use gbTouch’s track and transport functions to evaluate your mix. It also makes recording a breeze since you’re not tied to your computer’s location.

gbTouch automatically orients for landscape or portrait mode. Like GarageBand, most gbTouch functions are contained on the Main screen, with Track Info (Details and Effect Parameters) available with a simple tap.
