White Noise Audio Software have released version 1.0.3 of Genome MIDI Sequencer (GMS) – their pattern based MIDI sequencer for the iPad. The update includes many improvements and fixes.
What’s new:
- Added config options for Audio Latency
- Added input channel filtering
- Added MIDI Echo for MIDI controllers
- Added Note range Select in pattern editor
- Added missing time bar selection ability for CC editing
- Added support for Song Continue messages
- Added config option for sending Song Continue message
- Added Support for Song Position messages (sending and receiving)
- Added tabs to config popup for future expansion
- Added button to Insert Specific CC
- Added button for ‘send cc now’
- Added more default CC’s for all notes off and reset CC’s
- MIDI Input now sets the selected notes on the virtual keyboard as well (for note entry)
- Enabled midi keyboard while song is playing for CoreMIDI (not line6 mk I)
- Fixed issues with recording chords
- Fixed timing issue with recording
- Changed initialization code (crash fixed?)
- REMINDER: if you own the iO Dock, upgrade your firmware
- Fixed: app drops last note when first note is the same note
- Feature: Program change
- Fixed position of center line for pitch bend drawing (was off slightly)
- Removed/greyed out ‘Genome’ from list of connections
- Fixed issue with Genome’s virtual output not sending MIDI, made it so you can’t connect Genome to itself
- Pressing export inside the pattern editor exports JUST that pattern not all the patterns in that track
- Swapped dark / light colors on note rows for pattern editor (black keys are now black..)
- Track export now exports a Type 1 midi file instead of 2
- Fixed: Track midi export – doesn’t fix alpha
- Fixed: when fully zoomed, can’t scroll to end
