BeepStreet have released version 2.4 of GyroSynth – their gesture driven music synthesizer which takes full adventage of the gyroscope allowing you to play and modulate the sound by moving your hand through the air – just like the legendary Theremin instrument. The update adds MIDI Out so you can use it as a cool MIDI controller. This includes support for Virtual MIDI so you can control other compatible apps! They have also fixed the bug with the audio recorder.
GyroSynth makes use of the gyroscope to measure true roll, pitch, and yaw and translates them to sound parameters like pitch, volume, modulation or filter cutoff. Thanks to phenomenal accuracy (2000 degrees), you can play melodies perfectly in tune.
