Erik Sigth has released version 2.1 of Kinetic – his experimental sound generation app that was inspired by the inside of a maraccas. The update adds support for iPad and iPhone 5. Kinetic is now iOS Universal! It also has a new audio engine and man more improvements.

What’s new

• Supports all screens, iPad, 3.5 inch and 4 inch.
• New audio engine (should not be noticable for the user now, but opens up for future updates).
• Improved accelerometer noise reduction.
• Separated midi channel setting to in and out.
• Added sync to tempo (quantisation).
• Moved piano keys to main screen.
• Small color changes.
• Fixed Akai SS25 bug preventing it from connecting.
