Shiverware have released version 2.1 of Musix Pro – their iOS Universal musical instrument and control surface with unique hexagonal or rectangular note layouts. The update adds support for AudioBus (as an input and output application) and Virtual MIDI for apps that do not already support it.
“Some applications (such as Animoog) do not connect well with MIDI apps that do not run in the background. If you have a Midi application that you weren’t able to previously use with Musix Pro, turning on Virtual Midi (in the Instruments/Midi Options menu) should allow you to send Midi data.”
They have also fixed the bug when saving a layout (the current instrument will be saved as well). Note: Midi destinations is not saved currently.
Musix Pro the successor to Musix, which allows people to experiment with isomorphic keyboard layouts.
