Blip Interactive have released version 1.31 of NanoStudio – their iOS Universal music production studio. This version fixes some of the bugs that users were reporting following the last major update.
 

What’s New in Version 1.31:

• Bugfix – View stuck in portrait mode for some users when updating from a previous version
• Bugfix – Metronome click was not in sync for larger buffer latency settings
• Bugfix – TRG mute button behaved incorrectly on iPad edit screen

 

What’s Coming in Version 1.32:

We have also told that version 1.32 is ready for submission so should be available in the App Store shortly. Here’s the details of what to expect…

Features:

• Added an extra wide key setting
• Made TRG-16 edit mode more apparent by adding a graphical surround to the pads

 
Bugfixes:

• iOS Notifications now appear in the correct orientation
• Eden keyboard and other touches are no longer offset if device is tilted to a portrait orientation
• TRG pads flickered when using large audio buffer sizes
• Increased width of Monitor control on sampling page to accommodate longer text
• Improved touch response of Eden navigation controls (octave, page up/down etc.)
• Disabled vertical scroll in song editor when dragging loop points
• Fixed text overflow for track names in song editor
• Renamed waveshaper destination parameter to ‘Drive/BitCrush’ in Eden patchbay

 

 

NanoStudio includes up to 6 simultaneous instruments (including mixer) (or upgrade with the ’16 Instrument Tracks’ in-app purchase). Each synth has 16 voice polyphony, two dedicated insert effects and can use samples or dual oscillators in mix, ring or sync configuration (choice of 36 different waveforms). Each voice has a 2 pole resonant filter, 3 envelope generators and 4 LFO’s, all configurable via a patchbay. Perform and record controller movements using dual X/Y pads, a pitch bend wheel and accelerometer. NanoStudio comes with 128 ready-made synth presets to get you started.
