AffinityBlue have released version 1.6 of NodeBeat HD – their experimental node-based audio sequencer and generative music application for the iPad. The update includes SoundCloud sharing, Background Audio support, AudioCopy, and more! The update to the iPhone version is still awaiting approval but should follow shortly.

What’s new:

• Share on SoundCloud
• AudioCopy to another application
• Background Audio support. NodeBeat will continue to play in the background with option of turning this off
• Timing indicator. You can now get a visual cue when a note will be played
• Tempo now displays the correct BPM
• Timing is now consistent and precise
