AffinityBlue have released version 1.6 of NodeBeat for iPhone – their experimental node-based audio sequencer and generative music application. The update includes SoundCloud sharing, Background Audio support, AudioCopy, and more! The iPad version was also updated a few days ago.

What’s new:

• Share on SoundCloud
• AudioCopy to another application
• Background Audio support. NodeBeat will continue to play in the background with option of turning this off
• Timing indicator. You can now get a visual cue when a note will be played
• Tempo now displays the correct BPM
• Timing is now consistent and precise
