Sound Fantasy have released version 1.1.3 of Oraison and OraisonLight – their sample step sequencer and Ableton Live controllers for the iPad. This release upgrades the Freesound code to work with the new Freesound 2 API. The audio engine has also been optimized and the accuracy of the engine’s timing improved.
 

 

OraisonLight:

OraisonLight is a music software application that allows you to download sounds directly from freesound.org and arrange them in the application’s step sequencer and sample timeline components.

Additionally, it contains an example interface which allows you to control an Ableton Live program and shows how the full version of the application can be used to control any digital audio workstation with MIDI or OSC messages.

Oraison:

Oraison is a music software application that allows you to use a multi-touch screen as a control interface for software synthesizers, audio effects, digital audio workstations, and other applications.

Oraison also comes with a built in sampler, and it allows you to download sounds directly from freesound.org and use them in your interfaces.
