Erik Sigth has released version 2.3 of ShapeSynth. Highlights includes support for Virtual MIDI and background audio! The update also adds settings for MIDI channel and an accelerometer frequency modulator where you can either use the built in iDevice accelerometer or connect to sphero. This allows you to easily create subtle pitch shifts, crazy sounding sci-fi effects and a little in-between.
What’s new
Shape is a polyphonic synthesiser allowing the user to draw the shape of the oscillator waveform. The positive side of the oscillation is represented by 32 blocks and the negative side is its mirror, generating all sorts of possible raw retro sounds.
