Ultimate Guitar have released updates for their Ultimate Guitar Tools and Ultimate Guitar Chords apps. The updates include a number of improvements including the ability to generate alternate tunings on the fly and faster navigation around the various sections of each app.

Ultimate Guitar Tools v1.2.0:

• Global tuner settings: the tuning you set in the chromatic tuner will apply throughout the app
• Choose between displaying all notes or just specific tunings
• Generate alternate tunings in the Chords Library on the fly
• Switch between the fretboard or note display in the Chords Library
• The chord display now arranges chords based on the relevance of the bass note

 
Ultimate Guitar Chords v1.1.0:

• Generate alternate tunings on the fly
• Switch between the fretboard or note display in a snap
• The chord display now arranges chords based on the relevance of the bass note
• We’ve added extra chords with alternate bass notes
