Update: Vowel Synth v1.3 Released – Adds Two Vowel Polyphony

Ben Guo has released version 1.3 of Vowel Synth – their formant-filter based vowel synthesiser for the iPhone & iPod Touch. The update includes two-vowel polyphony and more accurate settings.
What’s new:
- Two-vowel polyphony! Use 2 fingers to generate 2 vowels at different fundamental frequencies.
- More accurate settings: Edit gray text boxes on the Settings page by tapping them.
- 2:1 (octave)
- 3:2 (perfect fifth)
- 4:3 (perfect fourth)
- 5:4 (major third)
Vowel Synth is a formant-filter based vowel synthesiser for the iPhone & iPod Touch in the spirit of Gunnar Fant’s Orbita Verbis Electris, an early formant synthesizer.
