Luke Bradford has released version 1.2 of Waveboard – his modular synthesiser for the iPad. The update adds the ability to record and save songs, three new built-in instruments, and more.

What’s new:

• Songs! Record and save songs as .wav files, and use them as a backdrop for solos or upload them to your computer to share and enjoy.
• Support for iOS 6.
• Three new built-in instruments that use comb filtering to produce bright, shimmering sounds: Autoharpsichord, Gold Rush, and Twangarang.
• UI updates and bug fixes.

 
Wire together touch pads, keyboards, oscillators, sensors, sliders, switches, speakers and more to build a synthesizer exactly the way you want it.
