The iOS version of the world-renowned TENORI-ON brings you a completely new musical interface. Even if you don’t know much about music, you can create music intuitively as if you were arranging sounds in space. The music that you see on the 16 × 16 grid of buttons is the music that is performed.

I like TNR-i a lot, and to me the best of the Yamaha apps. I does have its issues, for example, of all the apps that are MIDI capable, this one does zaps off the power out of my MIDI keys (and M-Audio Oxygen 61, USB powered). That does not happen with the other MIDI capable apps.
Now that Audiobus SDK is out there, Yamaha has no excuse not to support it and while they are at it, they should also support JACK and do background audio. The sound palette reminds me of my Yamaha PSS-360, so quaint, quirky, but very Yamaha in sound.
anybody know why this hasn’t arrived in the US store yet?
With Copy and Paste I am all in. Bought it and I must say this is an interesting fellow with awesome sounds and experimental possibilities. A bit expensive for an app but peanuts compared to the hardware version.
When i first got tnr-i i thought…well, that could be awesome if i had the sampling capabilities and shit. without it, it was useless. the stock sounds suck pretty much.
but NOW we’re talking! audiocopy for win! sadly only 3 user voices, but hey, at least we got big corps like yamaha supporting pasteboard.
