Reveal Sound has just released Rack Extension version of Spire synth and it has incredible launch price of just $59.
Obviously they were working hard to release it before Reason 9.5 version comes in. And they even called it Preview Edition. It is really weird – it doesn’t have any CV inputs/outputs except CV/GATE in. User interface works really weird at menus (choosing filter type for example). Matrix is not visual at all – they would better put it on the back of the rack unit… So it feels more like a beta rather than finished product. And if you have access to Reason 9.5 you can have much more fun with Spire VST – at least it has 8 CV inputs so you can modulate some of its parameters.
